PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for adjusting a belt length utilized for a lumber burden lightening tool or the like, which largely reduces the burden on the lumber during anteflexion.SOLUTION: An apparatus for adjusting a belt length includes: a length adjusting region part wherein one end of a belt 500 is connected and fixed on a movable article and the other end part is connected and fixed through an auxiliary spring connected with a base part, and pinching and locking and its releasing of the belt length adjusting region part can be done by one touch. This apparatus is constituted so that it includes: a guide formed in the length direction of the belt length adjusting region part; an operating shaft with an operating arm led by the guide; a pair of link arms which are connected with the operating shaft and are arranged in a face symmetry, and rotatably to a straight line passing through the axial center direction of the guide; a pair of L-type lock arms wherein one end part is axially connected to the link arm, and an elbow part is fixed on the base part by a rotating shaft, and a belt pinching part is formed on the other end part, and they are faced and arranged in facial symmetry; and a tensile spring for connecting a pair of the link arms or a pair of the lock arms. |
