PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception system and a reception head that implement appropriate transmission of an RF signal received by each reception head in performing reception diversity while increasing the degree of freedom in the arrangement of each reception head.SOLUTION: The reception system includes a plurality of reception heads 5a each having an antenna 30 for receiving an RF signal. Each reception head 5a includes a &Dgr;&Sgr; modulator 34 for performing &Dgr;&Sgr; modulation on the RF signal received by the antenna 30 to generate a quantized signal, and a transmission section 35 for transmitting the quantized signal generated by the &Dgr;&Sgr; modulator 34 to a signal output device 4 for performing a reception diversity process. |
