PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide terminal equipment for appropriately delivering a delivery article to a recipient in a short processing time.SOLUTION: Terminal equipment 2 reads information (information such as the place of a delivery destination and the name of a recipient) written in a slip 7 for delivery from the slip 7, and reads information (information such as a name or electronic signature) of the recipient stored in an IC card 8 to be presented by the recipient at the delivery destination from the IC card 8. The terminal equipment 2 verifies the electronic signature of the recipient by using an electronic certificate acquired following a preliminarily set delivery route, and when the verification of the electronic signature is successful, determines the rejection of the delivery of the delivery article to the recipient on the basis of whether or not the place of the delivery destination read from the slip corresponds to the current position of the terminal equipment, and whether or not the name of the recipient read from the slip corresponds to the name read from the IC card. |
