The invention relates to submersible equipment and is meant for the removal of mechanical impurities from downhole fluid at the intake to an electric centrifugal pump. The technical result is an increase in the service life of a downhole pump assembly despite a high content of mechanical impurities in the pumped fluid, and also a simplified design and improved ease of manufacture. The downhole pump assembly comprises an electric motor (1), a seal section (2), pump sections (5), an inlet module (3) with intake openings (4), a housing (6) and a particle removal device. The housing (6) envelops the bottom of the lowest pump section (5) and the inlet module (3), forming an annular cavity (8) therewith. The particle removal device is in the form of a spiral blade (9) positioned in the annular cavity (8) and extending past the bottom of the intake openings (4). The housing (6) is equipped with inlet openings in the top thereof and a sealing ring (10, 11), positioned at the end of said housing below the intake openings (4). Axial tubes (12) are installed in the sealing ring, said tubes acting to discharge particles from the annular cavity (8) into the well (13) and extending past the bottom of the electric motor (1). |
