A normally closed solenoid valve (100) is provided with a housing (10), a valve body (21) assembled thereto, a moveable core (22), a first spring (23), a second spring (24), a coil (25), and a fixed core (26). The valve body (21) is provided such that the valve body (21) can be seated onto and unseated from a valve seat (12c). The moveable core (22) is assembled in an integrated fashion with the valve body (21) within a cylinder part (11b) of the housing (10) so as to be moveable in the axial direction. The first spring (23) biases the valve body (21) and moveable core (22) toward the valve seat (12c). Using the power that is supplied to the coil (25), the coil (25) and fixed core (26) generate an electromagnetic force against the moveable core (22) in resistance to the load of the first spring (23). The second spring (24) applies to the valve body (21) and moveable core (22) a load smaller than that of the first spring (23) in resistance to said load. Furthermore, the normally closed solenoid valve (100) is provided with a load adjustment mechanism capable of adjusting the load of the first spring (23) and a stroke adjustment mechanism capable of adjusting the unseating stroke of the valve body (21) from the valve seat (12c). |
