PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that can prevent degradation in a display definition.SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device comprises: a first substrate that including a second pixel electrode having gate wiring extending along a first direction, source wiring extending along a second direction intersecting the first direction, a switching element electrically connected to the gate wiring and the source wiring, a first pixel electrode electrically connected to the switching element, an interlayer insulation film covering the first pixel electrode and a main pixel electrode positioned on the interlayer insulation film, electrically connected to the first pixel electrode and extending along the second direction and a first main common electrode extending along the source wiring; a second substrate that is disposed at a position facing the first substrate; and a liquid crystal layer that is held between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first pixel electrode includes an edge that is positioned closer to the source wiring and the first main common electrode than the main pixel electrode. |
