PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear with which a volume change of a confined portion due to the rotation of the gear can be decreased, sealing performance in a meshing portion can be improved, and further meshing occurs in an involute curve during a period from a start of the meshing to its termination, and to provide a gear design method for the gear.SOLUTION: An intersection point between a common tangent L4 of base circles BC of respective gears 100 and an involute curve forming a rotation meshing part 3 of the respective gears 100 is set at an addendum connection part P1 that is a connection part of the addendum 1 and the rotation meshing part 3, and a dedendum connection part P2 that is a connection part of the rotation meshing part 3 and the dedendum 2. |
