PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that has excellent offset resistance and blocking resistance in consideration of global environmental protection, and a manufacturing method of manufacturing such a toner.SOLUTION: A toner includes a binder resin and colorant. The binder resin includes a methyl group-containing polyester resin obtained by methylating, with a methyl ester methylation agent, a hydroxyl group of a polyester resin obtained by reacting a carboxylic acid component including a monocarboxylic acid derived from rosin and an alcohol component including polyalcohol, to introduce a methyl group into the obtained hydroxyl group. |
