A mobile device is disclosed. The mobile device includes: a display unit; a sensing unit sensing a user's touch on the surface of the display unit in inactivated mode; a storing unit storing predetermined gesture information; a controller activating the display unit, executing a wallet application, and displaying the execution screen; and a communicating unit transmitting selected payment means information to an external device when payment means is selected on the execution screen. Thus, payment is simply done.
