PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition capable of blocking an inflammatory response even when administered after occurrence of the inflammatory response to treat the inflammation.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for treatment of inflammation includes: an antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof recognizing the Toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) and suppressing inflammation after occurrence of an inflammatory response. In use of the pharmaceutical composition for treatment of inflammation, the antibody or the antigen-binding fragment thereof is administered to a subject causing the inflammatory response. |
