PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crimp terminal with a new structure capable of effectively realizing a displacement prevention property of a coated cylinder while securing rigidity of a coupling section.SOLUTION: A crimp terminal 10 comprises: a connection section 12 conductively connected to an electric connection object; a crimp section 14 caulked and fixed to a core wire 58 of a coated electric wire 56; and a coupling section 16 extending between the connection section 12 and the crimp section 14. The crimp section 14 comprises: a location section 36 on which the core wire 58 of the coated electric wire 56 is located; and core wire caulking sections 38 bent to project from both side edges in a width direction of the location section 36 in a flat plate manner and stand toward a side on which the core wire 58 is located. An extension section 48 formed by extending the side edge on the coupling section 16 side toward the coupling section 16 is provided on a base end 44 of the core wire caulking section 38, and an engagement corner section 52 is formed on an upper end face 50 of the extension section 48. |
