A method for encrypting a terminal using a subscriber identity module card, comprising: a terminal storing the unique identity number of a subscriber identity module card, and the terminal detecting an operation of a subscriber and authenticating a current subscriber according to an authentication condition determined by the subscriber. The authentication performed on the current subscriber refers to the terminal reading the unique identity number of the current subscriber identity module card, and comparing the read unique identity number of the current subscriber identity module card with the stored unique identity number of the subscriber identity module card; if they are the same, the terminal is controlled to enter a normal operating state; and if they are different, the terminal locks by itself or disables the access from the current subscriber. The present invention encrypts a mobile terminal using a subscriber identity module card, so as to make the encryption technique of the terminal safer and more reliable, and improve the subscriber experience. |
