PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary joint capable of suppressing leakage of fluids to the outside, by stabilizing relative movements of a fixed part and a rotary part to effectively prevent operation failures or shocks to a seal member.SOLUTION: A rotary joint 1 is configured by coaxially arranging: a rotary part 1a having an axial rotary flow path and fixed to a rotary shaft to be moved back and forth in the axial direction; and a fixed part 1b having an axial fixed flow path. A rotary seal part, which is disposed in the rotary part 1a and having a first seal surface, and a fixed seal part, which is disposed in the fixed part 1b and having a second seal surface, are locked in the axial direction by a locking part 15 while permitting relative rotation, a fixed shaft part 8a is moved back and forth along with the back-and-forth movement of the rotary part 1a, and a state, where two seal surfaces of the rotary seal part and the fixed seal part are arranged oppositely to each other and abutted on each other, is maintained. |
