MANUFACTURING DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR WIRE HARNESS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing device and a manufacturing method for a wire harness that can execute terminal insertion task and a conductivity inspection without causing a decrease in task efficiency and can improve product quality.SOLUTION: In the manufacturing device, a terminal insertion device 30 comprises: a device main body 31; a housing holding part 32 for holding a connector housing 20; and a conductivity detection part 33, arranged inside the device main body 31, for detecting conductivity with contacting with a terminal fitting 11 inserted into a terminal housing chamber 21. The housing holding part 32 is supported so as to freely project from/retract into the device main body 31 from a terminal insertion position at which the terminal fitting 11 is allowed to be inserted into the terminal housing chamber 21 of the held connector housing 20 to terminal conductivity position at which the housing holding part is immersed from the terminal insertion position into the device main body 31 to contact the terminal fitting 11 with the conductivity detection part 33, so that terminal insertion task and conductivity inspection are executed in a series of steps in the same terminal insertion device 30.
