PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crime prevention/disaster prevention light system whose installation is easily achievable even in a place where it is not possible to secure an external power source, and whose installation is encouraged in accordance with the fine arrangement of terminal equipment.SOLUTION: A crime prevention/disaster prevention system 100 is constituted by installing a crime prevention/disaster prevention light 100 and a host device 300 via a public line network 200. The crime prevention/disaster prevention light 100 includes a casing 111 constituted of a housing body 112 having an opening 115 formed like a square and a cover body 119 shaped like a square so as to be freely attachably/detachably fit into the housing body 112 covering the opening 115. The housing body 112 includes: a control part 120; a GPS sensor 121; a radiation sensor 123; an image pickup device 124; an accumulator 125; a display device 126; a speaker 127; a transmitter/receiver 128; and an external output terminal 129. Also, a solar battery 150 is supported via a deflection mechanism 140 capable of arbitrarily setting a direction and an angle of inclination on the cover body 119.
