A burner for an exhaust gas purification device is provided with: an exhaust pipe (11A) through which exhaust gas from the engine flows; a tube-shaped flame stabilizer (16) which has a space (20) in which fuel combusts; and an exhaust gas supply pipe (40) which is connected to the exhaust pipe (11A) and to the flame stabilizer (16) and which supplies exhaust gas into the space (20) in the flame stabilizer (16).
