PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stand with brakes for a surgical microscope, which can be easily operated.SOLUTION: Pivot lines 120a-120g of a predetermined number of stand arms 130a-130e of a stand 100 have a first predetermined number N of pivot bearings and/or a holder 140 mounted on one stand arm for a load to be supported. At least a part of the pivot bearing can act with brakes 125a-125g capable of fixing and releasing so as to secure a desired pivot position. The stand supports especially the load of a surgical microscope 145, wherein a second predetermined number n of the pivot bearings (however, the second predetermined number n is less or equal to the first predetermined number N) can be released by a first operation of operating devices 160, 162, and a third predetermined number n' of the pivot bearings (however, the third predetermined number n' is less or equal to the second predetermined number n) can be re-fixed by further operation of the operating devices. |
