PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image data compression coding device which effectively compresses image data, an image data compression coding method, and an image data compression coding program.SOLUTION: The image data compression coding device includes: threshold determination means for determining a first deviation threshold and a second deviation threshold larger than the first deviation threshold on the basis of the standard deviation in pixel value of each pixel in image data; and coding means which assigns a pixel whose deviation in pixel value is less than the first deviation threshold, a pixel whose deviation is equal to or greater than the first deviation threshold and less than the second deviation threshold, and a pixel whose deviation is equal to or greater than the second deviation threshold to a first division, a second division, and a third division, respectively, for each pixel, and which encodes the pixel value of each of the assigned pixels for each of the first to the third divisions to generate coded data. |
