Provided is a drive device comprising: a storage unit for storing waveform data for a drive signal that is the sine wave of the resonance frequency of an actuator and that stops excitation of the actuator outside of the central point of the amplitude of the sine wave; and a drive processing unit that reads the waveform data stored in the storage unit and outputs a drive signal corresponding to the waveform data to the actuator.
