PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a glass plate with a film less liable to raise dust can be produced.SOLUTION: A plurality of glass plates 18 each with a film formed on at least one principal surface are prepared. The plurality of glass plates 18 are stacked through a resin layer 14 to thereby produce a stack including the plurality of glass plates 18 each with the film formed on the whole of at least one principal surface. An etching step of etching end faces of the stack is carried out. After the etching step, a removal step of removing the resin layer 14 from the stack is carried out.
