PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink tank which can be smoothly attached to or detached from a tank holder and is smoothly replaced even if contents in the ink tank are expanded.SOLUTION: An ink tank 401 includes an ink vessel 402 forming an ink storage space 408 which can be sealed. The ink vessel 402 is provided with a flexible section 407a which is bent in accordance with a change in pressure in the ink storage space 408 in a sealed state. The flexible section 407a is formed so that it can be bent in a range that it does not extend beyond the outer face of the ink vessel 402. |
