The present invention relates to a portal site search ranking inducement system through online event, which comprises: an advertiser server constructed to provide search advertisement information including keyword for a user to read through a user terminal when the keyword advertisement content to advertise is searched by inputting a corresponding keyword in a search window of a search supporting portal server; and an advertisement promotion server which provides query form event advertisement asking a question about the query inquiring a part of the content of search advertisement information exposed during keyword search of the advertiser server for the connected user terminal, and provides prize incentive by lottery for an answered participant among participants if established target number of participants is reached within established running time for the event advertisement. The portal site search ranking inducement system through online and the method thereof can cause exposure advertisement effect by participation of participants and also interest of event advertisement nonparticipant, by increasing keyword search ranking of the search advertisement besides advertisement effect delivered through participants participated in question and answer type event advertisement inducing keyword searching.
