The art cover is an invention that allows for an addition to one’s easel and canvas when they are assembled together. This art cover covers the canvas and the easel from the front allowing for protection of the canvas, especially during transportation and storage. It is tied to the tower portion at the top of the easel by means of a locking mechanism. The art cover, canvas and easel are now one portable unit. It is carried by use of a shoulder strap which allows one or both hands to be kept free. A corrugated plastic back protector is provided with the art cover. It comes in a large size and is marked to be cut to suit smaller size canvasses. It serves to protect the canvas, especially during storage when one’s canvas might be left leaning against anything with a rough edge. <Figure 3a> |
