<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize of a power transformer and power conversion equipment using the same. <P>SOLUTION: To solve the above problem, this power transformer has a primary winding to which a predetermined voltage is applied, a secondary winding in which a converted voltage is generated according to the voltage applied to the primary winding, a winding shaft over which the primary winding and secondary winding are wound, and an insulating member which is provided at the peripheral wall of the winding shaft.
