The present invention relates to an AVH control method using oil pressure control logic and a control device thereof, the method comprising the steps of: determining an automatic vehicle hold (AVH) operation condition of a vehicle through measured oil pressure input from a master cylinder pressure measurement sensor; and operating an AVH by controlling an oil pressure control device if the vehicle satisfies the AVH operation condition. According to the present invention, the AVH is operated by sensing pedal effort of a brake pedal and sensing oil pressure through the pedal effort through the oil pressure control logic without a special operation switch only when a driver needs the AVH, thereby increasing driver convenience and achieving safe operations. In addition, the present invention reduces costs of a vehicle by removing a separate switch for an AVH operation, and can be easily implemented by being performed only by the setup of the oil pressure control logic without adding special hardware.
