The transmission device (40) has hingedly interconnected transmission elements (50,60) having convex coupling portion (51) and concave coupling portion (64). The convex coupling portion and concave coupling portion which are held in a form-fitting manner such that transmission elements rotates about longitudinal axis (58,68) and tensile force is transferable between the transmission elements. An independent claim is included for method for manufacture of transmission device.
