The present invention relates to a chemical filter used for a purification apparatus which is installed for supplying purified air to a clean room for semiconductor manufacturing process etc, more specifically, to a polygonal chemical filter realizing cost reduction by facilitating replacement of chemical media. The chemical filter comprises a filter media and a frame accommodating the filter media. The frame has multiple air passages for purification on the side and comprises a polygonal pillar shape. A fixing means for filter media formation is included in the air passages for purification to shape the filter media in a wave form. A support fixing means for purification is included in the air passages for purification to support the filter media. An edge cover plate is comprised to be separated from the edge part of the frame and facilitates the separation and installation of the filter media.
