PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package material having an excellent non-adsorbing property and a good gas barrier and heat-sealing properties, and to provide a paper container made of the package material, particularly a paper container for liquid.SOLUTION: A package material includes at least a paper substrate layer, a barrier layer, an anchor coat layer adjacently laminated on the barrier layer, an intermediate layer adjacently laminated on the anchor coat layer, and a sealant layer adjacently laminated on the intermediate layer. In the package material, the sealant layer is provided with a linear low-density polyethylene resin layer adjacent to the intermediate layer, and a cyclic polyolefin resin layer in this order. |
