PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic sensitive toner suitable for pressure fixing and an OHP device and capable of forming sufficient image density by forming the toner from a specified polyolefin compsn. and a colorant. CONSTITUTION:A toner is composed of a polyolefin compsn. contg. sorbitol diacetal, and a colorant. As said diacetal, the condensate of sorbitol and benzaldehyde, such as dibenzylidenesorbitol, or condensates of sorbitol and substd. benzaldehydes, etc. are used. As said polyolefin, natural wax, paraffin wax, amide wax, petroleum wax, fatty acid and its metal salt, polyethylene glycol and its derivs., low mol.wt. polyethylene, etc. are used. As said colorant, various kinds of carbon black, silicon black, etc. are used. Since the polyolefin compsn. of the toner thus prepared enhances transmittance, sufficient density is obtained for pressure fixing and OHP, and it has also superior developing and fixing performance. |
