PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when microlenses are formed without adding new layers, there occurs a difference in microlens dimensions due to a difference in the colors of color filters.SOLUTION: A display device manufacturing method comprises the steps of: forming a reflective layer 102, 104, 106 on a substrate 101 side apart from an organic light-emitting layer 107 over substantially the whole of a display region 2 except a region overlapping a microlens 114; forming a color filter 110 in a portion corresponding to part of the organic light-emitting element; forming a color filter opening 111, 112, 113 in a portion of a color filter of at least one specific color corresponding to an organic light-emitting element except the specific color and also forming a color filter of the specific color in substantially the whole region except the opening; and forming a microlens in a region wider than the color filter opening by a positive type photo process. |
