PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of inserting a steel pipe pile which is applicable to a site even if the site is narrow and has a firm ground, or includes obstacles in the ground.SOLUTION: The ground 1 is excavated to form a drilling hole 4 by rotating an excavation bit 80 connected to a rod 70 of a press-in device 10 while adding a vibromotive force to the excavation bit 80. Soil cement is formed in the drilling hole 4 by agitating soil resulting from the excavation of the ground 1 and cement milk. A steel pipe pile 100 is pressed into the drilling hole 4 while adding a vibromotive force and a torque.
