Disclosed is a method for acquiring information, comprising: after a connection with an IPTV device which is playing a TV program is established, sending an information query request to an IPTV server; receiving address information about the information which is sent from the IPTV server, acquired according to the information query request, and related to the content of the TV program being played; and according to the address information, acquiring information related to the content of the TV program being played from the information server. According to the method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a terminal can acquire information related to the content of a TV program which is being played by an IPTV device, and a user can view the information related to the content of the TV program which is being played by the IPTV device through the terminal, thus improving the user experience. |
