<p>In an automotive air conditioner, a defrosting unit for when the vehicle is stopped runs a defrost operation in cases where a pre-air-conditioning operation is requested by means of pre-air-conditioning start switches (60a, 70a) while the vehicle is stopped. Accordingly, when a pre-air-conditioning operation is requested and there is a plan for a passenger to ride in the vehicle, it becomes possible to run the defrost operation and thus ensure the air-conditioning performance of the automotive air conditioner. Furthermore, when there is no plan for a passenger to ride in the vehicle in the immediate future, it becomes possible to prevent running of the defrost operation so as to prevent unnecessary energy consumption in the automotive air conditioner.</p> |
