The unit (1) i.e. integrated rear trays, has a decorative layer (2) provided with an activatable element (3). An airbag flap (4a, 4b) is fixed with an unfoldable airbag. The unfoldable airbag is formed with an opening. A carrier and an interlayer e.g. foam layer or textile layer, are arranged on the decorative layer. The decorative layer is made of leathers, PVC or TPO. An igniter cord and a detonation cord are coupled with the activatable element by a resistance wire. An independent claim is also included for a method for weakening an airbag covering unit.
