A display panel comprises a data driving chip (101) and at least two scanning driving chips (102, 103). The data driving chip (101) is provided with a first scanning signal input end (1011) and a first scanning signal output end (1013). The scanning driving chip is provided with a second scanning signal input end (1021) and a second scanning signal output end (1022). The second scanning signal input end (1021, 1031) of each scanning driving chip (102, 103) is connected to the first scanning signal output end (1013) of the data driving chip through a corresponding wire; and the resistances of the wires corresponding to the at least two scanning driving chips (102, 103) are identical, or the difference between the resistances is smaller than a preset value. Also provided are a flat-panel display device and a driving method thereof. The brightness distribution of the display panel is more uniform.
