A conferencing system may provide a data stream routing solution integrating data streams of different formats for compatibility during a conference. Endpoints using different communications devices may participate in the conference. A protocol may be applied to data streams participating in the conference so each endpoint may recognize the contents of the data stream. The endpoints may be connected in a peer-to-peer network so that data streams may be distributed to each endpoint rather than relying on a bridge. Signal mixing of data streams may be performed to provide improved quality to the signals transmitted be each endpoint. |
