<p>The method involves identifying rules that specify networks are identified to transmit data packets. A communication interface is selected from the two or more communication interfaces associated with the network for transmitting the data packets over selected several networks. The rules are comprised of a bandwidth on the interface, the time and the cost to send the packet, an estimated delay, required power consumption, bandwidth quota remaining with a service provider, exclusion of specific times and dates, battery life, an estimated time and transmission cost per byte.</p> |
