The box (1000) has a box access door (1100) divided into a lower door portion (1110) and a grid-shaped upper door portion (1120) that is separately moved from the lower door portion. Height of the horizontal separation between the door portions over a bottom (1200) is maintained in the box such that young animals do not hurdle the lower door portion, during opening of the upper door portion and mother animals hurdle the lower door portion, during opening of the upper door portion. A cylindrical protection device (1111) i.e. plastic roller, is arranged at an upper end of the lower door portion.
