PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently read images of a plurality of objects and to group the plurality of read object images.SOLUTION: An image reading apparatus 100 comprises a reading stage 100a where an object is placed, and an imaging and projecting section 100b which reads an object image from the object placed on the reading stage 100a. The image reading apparatus 100 determines object images to be grouped based on an arrangement of a plurality of objects 103a-103c placed on the reading stage 100a and groups the plurality of object images read by the imaging and projecting section 100b in accordance with a result of the determination. |
