PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating section 102 which enables a user to sufficiently confirm influences, upon printed matter, caused by changing a preset value of a predetermined setting item.SOLUTION: The operating section 102 is provided which comprises acquisition means 405, generation means 406 and preview image display means 407. When a predetermined icon 702 is depressed by a user, the acquisition means 405 acquires preset values of setting items 801 corresponding to the icon 702 step by step. The generation means 406 generates a preview image 1000 corresponding to the acquired preset value 802 for each of the preset values 802. The preview image display means 407 displays the generated preview images 1000 within an operation screen 700 while switching them in order at predetermined time intervals. |
