PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid writing material rich in convenience which is hardly broken in use, exhibiting color change of handwriting, and does not contaminate a blank area of a written page when rubbing the handwriting for color change, and a solid writing material set using the same.SOLUTION: A solid writing material is obtained by molding a reversible thermochromic composition, comprising at least (a) an electron-donating coloring organic compound, (b) an electron-accepting compound, and (c) a reaction medium causing an electron give-and-take reaction by the components (a), (b) repeatedly at a specific temperature region, while holding a dispersing state in excipient wax, where penetration of the writing material is 0.1-28. A solid writing material set comprises the solid writing material and a friction material. |
