PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To combine an image forming apparatus with an image deleting apparatus to reduce an installation cost and to configure the apparatus so that an image forming function and an image deleting function can be merged in the same apparatus, when toner capable of decoloration in a short time is available.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: a mode setting part (100) for setting an operation mode so as to make the image forming apparatus operate in a deleting mode when a deleting operation is instructed; a supply part for supplying media (P) with images formed thereon, which are set in a designated or particular storing part (20); a decoloring part (26) for transferring the formed images to a heating part (27), which has at least a heating decoloring function, to decolor the formed images; and a returning part (100) for returning from the deleting mode to a predetermined mode other than an image deleting mode when the last medium with images formed thereon that is set in the storing part (20) is decolorized. |
