PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensive spline telescopic shaft capable of suppressing abnormal noise generation for a long period of time.SOLUTION: An intermediate shaft 5 (spline telescopic shaft) includes cylindrical outer shaft 40, having female spline 41 and a first axial groove 42; and inner shaft 50 having male spline 51 and a second axial groove 52. Between the axial grooves 42, 52 mutually facing both of the shaft 40, 50, a resin beam 70 having elasticity is interposed. At least either one of both splines 41, 51 is coated by a first resin coat 61, at least either one of both axial grooves 42, 52 is coated by a second resin coat 62. When transmitting small torque between the both shaft 40, 50 via the resin beam 70, the second resin coat 62 elastically deforms with the resin beam 70, stress generated in the resin beam 60 is suppressed. |
