PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable working machine capable of changing a length of a rod whose top end is attached with a tool.SOLUTION: A portable working machine 1 includes a movable pipe 80 installed to a fixing pipe 40 to be slidable in its axial direction, a holding part 51 provided to the fixed pipe and holding another pipe, a tightening part 62 supported by the holding part, a locking unit 80c provided to the movable pipe, and an engaging unit 62c engageable to the locking unit. The holding part has an insertion part 51A through which the movable pipe is inserted and an abutment part 64 integrally arranged with the insertion part. When the movable pipe is maximally pulled out against the fixed pipe, the movable pipe 80 is fixed to the fixing pipe 40 accompanying the tightening of the movable pipe 80 with the tightening part 62 to engage the engaging unit 62c to the locking unit 80c. |
