PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas recirculating device for an internal combustion engine capable of suppressing incidence of corrosion caused by permission of excessive accumulation of condensation water.SOLUTION: An EGR device 40 includes: a bypass pipe 44 that is disposed below an EGR cooler 42 and bypasses the EGR cooler 42 in an EGR pipe 41, the EGR cooler 42 and in a gravity acting direction; and a valve 45 that switches a distribution channel into at least one of the EGR cooler 42 and the bypass pipe 44. The EGR device has a reservoir T capable of storing condensation water generated in the EGR cooler 42 in in-bypass distribution unit P. When an amount of the condensation water stored by the reservoir T is more than a predetermined amount α, the EGR device distributes exhaust gas via the bypass pipe 44 out of the EGR cooler 42 and the bypass pipe 44. |
