PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating apparatus, including a bladder and a weight unit that can be lifted by an upward movement of the bladder by buoyancy of the bladder, and capable of accumulating potential energy.SOLUTION: A buoyancy power generating apparatus includes: a tank body 11 adapted to receive liquid therein; a buoyancy mechanism 2 including a bladder 22 disposed in a tank 1; a weight unit 3 supported movably on a vertical support 35 disposed outside the tank; a transmission 5 coupled to the buoyancy mechanism 2 and to the weight unit 3 and configured so that while the bladder 22 moves upward, the weight unit 3 driven by the bladder 22 can move upward and that when the bladder 22 deflates, the weight unit 3 can move downward by gravity; and an inflating mechanism 4 including a gas-storing container 41 disposed below the tank 1 and an air compressor 45 which is connected to the gas-storing container 41 and controllably supplies air to the gas-storing container 41 to inflate the bladder 22. |
