PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PLD which can deal with dynamic configuration, and which achieves low power consumption and short startup time.SOLUTION: A programmable logic device (PLD) comprises: a plurality of array-shape programmable logic elements (PLE); and a switch for selecting electric connection between PLEs. The switch includes a plurality of units each including: a first transistor having a channel formed in an oxide semiconductor layer; a node which becomes floating when the first transistor becomes an off-state; and a second transistor in which a conduction state between a source and a drain is determined based on configuration data stored on the node. The second transistors included in respective units are electrically connected in parallel with each other and a conduction state of the switch is determined by selection of any one of the units thereby to cause electric connection between the PLEs to be set. |
