PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas compressor supplying a high back pressure to vanes at an final stage of a compression stroke and not causing loss of power even by the supplying of the high pressure.SOLUTION: A gas compressor has a rotor 50, a cylinder 40 having an inner peripheral surface 41 of a contour shape surrounding the outer peripheral face 52 of the rotor 50 from the outside, five pieces of plate like vanes 58 arranged freely protrudably receiving back pressure from a vane groove 59 formed in the rotor 50, and a compressor body 60 having a front side block 20 and a rear side block 30 covering both end faces of the rotor 50 and the cylinder 40 within a housing 10, a compression chamber 43 is formed in the compressor body 60, and a high pressure path 32 is formed, for supplying high pressure refrigerant gas G to the vane groove 59 only in a timing (a part period) of one point before starting the discharge of the refrigerant gas G from the compression chamber 43 of a compression stroke of the refrigerant gas G (gas) in the compression chamber 43. |
