<p>The present invention relates to a machine tool that inhibits the attachment of chips and coolant to a tool magazine, makes the tool magazine work well, keeps good positional accuracy or the like for a tool with respect to a grip arm and a machine spindle unit, and inhibits the deterioration of machining accuracy. The tool magazine is a tool exchange apparatus of the machine tool and circulates plural moving carriages along a rail, as grip arms gripping tool holders are attached to the moving carriages. A spindle head mounts the tool holder, and utilizes tools supported by the tool holder to machine a machined object. A cover includes an upper plate portion covering over the tool magazine, an outer plate portion covering an upper portion at an outer perimeter side, a lower plate portion covering a lower portion at the outer perimeter, and an inner plate portion covering an inner perimeter side. The cover can prevent the chips and the like generated by the machining from attaching to the tool holder and the like.</p> |
