<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst composition for producing a rigid polyurethane foam without using tin, lead, mercury and compounds thereof, and to provide a method for producing the rigid polyurethane foam by using the catalyst composition. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the rigid polyurethane foam includes reacting a polyol with a polyisocyanate in the presence of the catalyst composition containing an amine compound (A) of formula (1) [wherein, R<SB>1</SB>to R<SB>5</SB>are each alkyl or formula (2); R<SB>6</SB>and R<SB>7</SB>are each hydrogen or alkyl; p is an integer of 1-3; with the proviso that one to four of R<SB>1</SB>to R<SB>5</SB>are each a substituent of formula (2)], and a tertiary amine compound (B) having a value of ≥0.5 [foaming reaction rate/resinification reaction rate]. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
